When you book an appointment
We store your name, phone number, e-mail, the treatment and time you have chosen, the stylist, and the language you booked in. We use this information to keep your appointment, confirm it, send reminders by e-mail and SMS, and contact you if the time needs to change. The basis is that we need to be able to provide the appointment you have ordered (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the Data Protection Regulation).
Style suggestions with images
If you use style suggestions, your images are sent to an AI service (Google Gemini, or Groq if Gemini does not respond) to generate the suggestions. This only happens if you have given consent (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a). We do not store the images. Google may use the images to improve its services. You can always choose not to use this feature and still book an appointment.
Spam protection
When you book or request style suggestions, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a human and not an automated program. Cloudflare sees your IP address and technical information about your browser. This is done to protect the salon from fake bookings and abuse (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f). Turnstile does not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
Who we share information with
We never sell your information. We use these providers to run the website:
- Cloudflare: database for bookings (servers in Western Europe) and spam protection (Turnstile)
- Vercel: hosting of the website
- Resend: sending of e-mails
- 46elks (Sweden, EU): sending of SMS
- Google and Groq: style suggestions, only if you use them
Some of the providers are American. Transfers take place under EU rules, for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses.
SMS reminders
When you book an appointment, we use your phone number to send you SMS about your booking: a confirmation, a reminder 24 hours before and 2 hours before your appointment, and a message if the appointment is cancelled. We do not send advertising or newsletters by SMS. SMS are sent via 46elks AB (Sweden, EU), which only processes your number and the message content to deliver the message. Your phone number is deleted along with your booking after our standard retention periods. If you do not want to receive SMS, you can call or write to us, and we will stop them.
How long we store information
Name, phone, and e-mail for a booking are automatically deleted 12 months after the appointment. Images for style suggestions are not stored. To limit the use of style suggestions, we store an encrypted code for your internet connection for two days, not the address itself.
Cookies
The website does not use any cookies for statistics or marketing. Only employees who log in receive a cookie, which is necessary to keep them logged in and is deleted when the browser is closed. Fonts are hosted on our own server.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information we have about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object, request restriction, receive your data, and withdraw consent. Write to (missing), and we will respond within a month.
Complaint
You can file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk.
